Andrew plays out of Swartz Creek, MI. He first picked up disc golf in the fall of 2024, after years of playing ball golf. Some friends got him to try it, and he quickly realized how much better it fit his lifestyle, no tee times, just grab your bag and go. He loves the spontaneity of being able to decide to play at the last minute, along with the mix of nature, hiking, and friendly competition. Disc golf is also one of the most accessible sports he’s seen, you can bring a friend for their first round, and they’ll usually enjoy it whether or not they get competitive. He says keeps him coming back is the community, it’s one of the most welcoming he has ever been part of. Everyone he has played with has been great, and he always hear the same from others. Plus, it’s affordable with a huge return on investment in terms of fun. Whether it’s walking and talking with friends or competing, disc golf has a way of making every round worthwhile to Andrew!
