AJ plays out of Macomb, MI. He began his disc golf journey in May 2020 with his siblings. His older brother introduced them to the sport at River Bends. That summer, AJ and his sister, Brittany, were particularly drawn to the game. The following summer in 2021, he joined leagues at Firefighters Park and a local church course, Steeple Run. It was there he met Robbie Riddle, achieved his first casual ace, and then his first league ace. This experience motivated him to compete in tournaments.

AJ has a passion for discovering new and unique discs. In 2021, he discovered the Berg and Rask molds from Kastaplast, and since then, he's been captivated by them. He appreciates the feel of Kastaplast plastic and primarily throws it. He continues to explore and seek out unique discs.

Currently, his favorite discs are the Kastaplast Berg x and Idog. His preferred course to play is Grizzly Oaks, while Firefighters Park in Troy, MI, is the course he plays most often.
